Lawrence "L $tarr" Conklin
     Lawrence Burt Conklin III was born in Manhasset NY on February 27, 1989. The first born son of Lawrence Burt Conklin Jr. and Julene Marie Mercano and younger brother to his sister Larraysha S. Conklin. Lawrence was raised and spent most of his life in Cambria Heights Queens NY. He attended private school (Montessori) until he started kindergarten in Douglaston NY at P.S. 98, progressing well in his studies as a child Lawrence loved all sports and engaged in several, track, basketball and baseball. After graduating from P.S. 98 Lawrence attended I.S. 67 where he often found himself in conflicts with his peers. Although he was not a trouble maker Lawrence was no punk either and felt the need to defend himself. So for the first year or two Mom got several phone calls that just made her want to whoop that *ss. It took Lawrence a minute but then he realized that there were different means of handling conflict and then one day Mom got that call from the dean saying Lawrence was stopping fights now and avoiding conflict, and seriously had turned over a new leaf. Lawrence has always been one of the popular kids and his home was always the go to place where everyone wanted to hang out at, actually it still is! Lawrence is a dedicated loving friend and shows his loyalty to those friends that are true to him. Lawrence furthered his education in Cardozo high school where he graduated with diploma in hand in June of 2008. Lawrence has always been a hard worker getting a hustle in even before he had working papers cutting grass at the neighbors during the warmer weather or shoveling snow during the winter, flipping clothing and foot gear. As a child Lawrence always had a love for all genres of music and in his teens he persuade it even more when he was given his own studio equipment. Lawrence and his friends would go down into the basement and make up free style raps and beats all night long. Now out of High School Lawrence landed a job at UPS where he was a pre loader but not wanting to settle, after about 3 months he put in a letter of intent for a supervisors job and was promoted. While working at UPS Lawrence decided to further his career and started attending BMCC, but as his schedule at work became more demanding he decided to take a break away from school with the intent on returning after a semester but be it as it may Lawrence had other options that he wanted to explore and Military Army family turned him into the man he is today. Currently Lawrence is stationed in Baum holder Germany, but deployed in Afghanistan where his MOS is supplies his tour is expected to be up in January of 2012 at which time he will return home to start a new journey in life. Lawrence has continued his career in the music industry and has had success in developing great music with a large fan base. Performing in Germany at several different clubs, several videos spotlighted on World Star Hip Hop and You Tube just to mention a couple. Lawrence continues to be a dedicated, loving, hard working, ambitious and out spoken individual seeking out bigger and better things in life to explore and concur. Lawrence is in hopes of becoming a private contractor for the Military of perusing his career with the Police Department when he returns home. He is a dedicated son, brother, uncle and father of his daughter London Love Conklin born in November of 2009 and looks forward to bonding and watching her grow. Some of Lawrence's loves have been and continue to be sports, staying in shape, photography, modeling, engineering, editing, producing, writing and having memorable great times with friends and family.
